Dean Sigmon is an accomplished property management and brokerage professional with sixteen years of experience in the multifamily real estate industry. Over the past six years Dean has been working primarily in brokerage services. His extensive understanding of operational issues and costs, combined with knowledge of the physical elements of multifamily properties has proven invaluable to CBC/Ideal Realty Group and its clients. Among Dean’s most significant contributions to the team are his unique Asset Repositioning suggestions, which he produces for all properties marketed by CBC/Ideal Realty Group. During his tenure at CBC/Ideal Realty Group, he has transacted over $1.5 billion or 24,225 multifamily units.

Most recently, Mr. Sigmon has spear-headed the disposition of several non-performing and bank owned assets in the Mid Atlantic region. Mr. Sigmon and his team members have acted as a Disposition Receiver for several bank owned or distress multifamily properties to include fractured or failed condominium projects.

Prior to joining CBC/Ideal Realty Group, Dean was involved in property management for Oakwood Apartments, Post Properties/Ram Partners (NYSE – PPS) as well as involved in hotel asset management for Radisson Hotels International. During Dean’s tenure at RAM Partners/Post Properties, he was responsible for managing a $1 billion portfolio for extremely high-net worth individuals (Rales Family Investments) Forbes 400 most wealthy individuals, Life Companies, REITS and institutional clients in the South East and Mid Atlantic region. Dean has also been involved in both new construction projects to include high-rise and garden style property types. Dean has successfully dispositioned over 2,000 units totaling over $200 million in transaction volume as Vice President and Disposition Analyst for RAM Partners and Post Properties.
